Sinopsis / Synopsis:

In 1943 the world watched in amazement as a volcano was born in the lands of Michoacán. Dr. Atl, a lover of volcanoes, witnessed that extraordinary event and for several years devoted himself to recording the origin and evolution of Paricutín.

Biografía / Biography:

Rodrigo Alonso Kahlo is a Mexican filmmaker graduated from the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires. His short films El Holandés Errante and Mis noches con Julia premiered at international festivals such as FICUNAM, BAFICI, Black Canvas FCC, among others. He is currently developing his first feature film La Emperatriz y el Axolotl.
