Guillaume Brac was born in Paris in 1977. After studying production at Fémis, he directed and produced his first short film Le Naufragé (Stranded) in 2009, followed by a medium-length film Un monde sans femmes (A world without women) in 2011, which won awards at numerous festivals. These two films, combined in a single program, were released in France, where they achieved great critical and public success, then in Belgium and Japan.
