Sinopsis / Synopsis:
Goff in the desert shows 62 buildings by the American architect Bruce Goff (1904-1982) - from the small gas station house to the representative museum building - and is thus the first comprehensive film documentation of almost all of his still existing buildings. Bruce Goff is the great unknown of an originally American architecture. His structural inventions and designs are at odds with the ideals of the International Style movement, which has become exclusively known. The controversies that Bruce Goff's work caused during his lifetime are legendary. Almost every one of his buildings was a shock to the landscape, unleashing new, previously unimagined architectural possibilities.
