Synopsis
A miserable Argentine troupe of actors, dancers, musicians, film-makers and a girl embark on a theatre tour to some country, probably in Latin America. If ever love and money were irreconcilable, Por el dinero is the story of that tragedy.

Biography
Alejo Moguillansky is a film director. His films have been screened in festivals such as Locarno, Berlin, Viennale and London, among others, and they have been highlighted in numerous retrospectives. He has won the Best Argentine Film Award at BAFICI on three occasions with Castro (2009), El escarabajo de oro (2014) and La vendedora de fósforos (2017). He has edited films by Mariano Llinás, Albertina Carri, Matías Piñeiro, Hugo Santiago, Laura Citarella, among others. In theatre, he works with Luciana Acuña; with whom he regularly collaborates solely, or along with her ensemble Grupo Krapp. He is a tenured Professor at Universidad del Cine (Buenos Aires). He is co-founder of the production company El Pampero Cine. He is part of the Sociedad de Exhibidores Trashumantes, a “parakultural” organization for film exhibitions, located in Buenos Aires.
