Synopsis:

How to resurrect a past that was never one’s own to being with? The possibilities of reincarnation through satanic ritual or synthetic biology offer faint options against a landscape seemingly indifferent to the questions asked of it. 

Biography:

Ryan Ferko is an artist working predominantly in film and video. Originally trained as a historian, across cinemas and galleries his work is concerned with landscapes as unstable sources of narration. Based in Toronto, his solo practice runs parallel to a long-term collaboration with Parastoo Anoushahpour and Faraz Anoushahpour.
