Synopsis:
Isabella is the fifth installment of “Las Shakespeareads” series, which elaborates contemporary fictions about the female roles in William Shakespeare’s comedies. On this occasion, Mariel is an actress from Buenos Aires who, over two years of auditions, tries to obtain the role of Isabella, the heroine of the problem play Measure By Measure, without any success. On the crossroad between frustration and the idea of success, Mariel meets again and once again with Luciana, a former theater companion who acts as a kind of bright shadow, a destiny she can’t avoid, that enlightens but also blinds her at the same time. Isabella unfolds like a kaleidoscopic puzzle about the difficulty of accurately
defining the color of our decisions.
