Thomas, a Swiss-German musician, is stuck at home because of a broken foot. He wanders around his tiny Parisian flat, his leg in a plaster, busy composing a new piece. At sunrise, an unexpected female visitor is showing up at the door.
Born in 1990, Camille Degeye graduated with a master’s degree from Paris 8 University. In 2013, she joined L’Etna and l’Abominable, both associative labs where she developed her practice of artisanal filmmaking. Her first three films Pour tout bagage on a 20 ans, (2015), Burûq, 2016 and L’esseulé, (2018) have been shown at international festivals such as Busan International Short Film Festival, Edinburgh International Film Festival or JCC in Tunis, and awarded in France and Italy. Her latest short film, Journey Through a Body, was selected for the 58th Cannes Critics’ Week in 2019 and won the Grand Prix in Vilnius Film Festival Kino Pavasaris in 2020. Camille is currently developing several fiction projects, including her first feature film.
