Synopsis:

Valentina, a Chilean journalist who has been investigating human rights cases from the dictatorship, finds her father, Mario, in Mexico City after many years without seeing him. Valentina discovers a connection between her past, her father, and Mexico. This meeting will have dire consequences for both of them.

Biography:

Christian Díaz Pardo, Chilean, based in Mexico since 2001. Graduated from C.C.C. His First Feature “González, false prophets” was selected in more than 50 international festivals and obtained multiple recognitions, among which are: Award for Best First Film at the Montreal Festival des Films du Monde 2014, Best Feature Film at the Friborg International Film Festival 2015. He also obtained five nominations for the Ariel Awards from the Mexican Academy of Cinematographic Sciences and Arts in the categories of Best Actor, Best Male Co-performance, Best Sound, Best Screenplay and Best First Feature. Sanguinetti was screened at the 2019 Havana New Latin American Cinema Festival, FICUNAM 2020 and SANFIC 2020.
