Synopsis
For two years, a surgeon obsessively sends messages to her husband’s former lover
once she becomes aware of the infidelity.

Biography
Dalia Huerta Cano works as a freelance documentary cinematographer and photographing works for several artists and museums in Mexico and abroad. She has
taught workshops at ITESO University and other venues such as Laboratorio LATIR.
She holds a bachelor’s degree on Communication Sciences at ITESO (Guadalajara,
Mexico) and has had formal film training at the Universidad de Guadalajara, CAAV
(Guadalajara, Mexico), Centro Fotográfico Alvarez Bravo (Oaxaca, Mexico), Laboratorio
Arte Alameda (Mexico City, Mexico), Utrecht Universiteit (Utrecht, The Netherlands) and
EICTV (San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba). In 2007 and 2010 she received a grant for
artistic creators on film and video category from the Jalisco Council of Culture, and in
2015, support for post production from IMCINE (Mexican Institute of Cinematography)
and the grant for project and cultural joint investment from the FONCA (National Fund
for Culture and Arts) in 2018.

She is a renowned cinematographer for documentaries and as director on her own
projects.

Her work has been selected, exhibited and has won awards on film festivals around the
world.
