Celebrating birthdays is the way in which we measure our lives and the passage of time. The Years is a reflection on time, memory and mortality through our imprint in images and the rituals in our lives. A representation of the circular nature of time and generational continuity, this short film highlights the abstract ways in which we understand time and the collective experience.
