The process of a young actress who, based on her own emotional experience, gives life to the character of Tisbea in the play The Trickster of Seville by Tirso de Molina. Tisbea is a transdisciplinary experiment that combines theater, sound art and cinematography. The story of this short film was spun from observing rehearsals of The Trickster of Seville, staged by students from the Escuela Nacional de Arte Teatral (ENAT), under the direction of Mauricio Garcia Lozano.
Israel Ahumada (Mexico City, 1984). Bachelor of Communication Sciences from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), in 2009, he is admitted to the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica, A.C. (CCC), where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with his short film Fausto en la oscuridad (2017). His project Perdona nuestras ofensas (2013) was nominated to a Diosa de Plata Award as best short fiction film, as well as having been screened in over 30 festivals and international exhibitions. His documentary Dejar la piel (2017) received the Doculatente Award at the 6th Documentary Lab DOCULAB – IFF Guadalajara. This recognition led to his attendance along with the project at the IDFA Academy during the the 27th IDFA
