Sinopsis / Synopsis:
Santa Bárbara tells the story of Bárbara, a woman who works as a maid in a house and in a furniture store. Every Saturday, she calls her mother's house to talk to her two children, whom she hasn't seen since she left her country. In one of these calls, her mother tells her that her eldest son was arrested and that she can no longer take care of him, so Barbara will change her life to receive him.
Biografía / Biography:
Anaïs Pareto Onghena was born in Barcelona in 1985. She studied Film Directing at ESCAC in Spain, Actors Direction at EICTV in Cuba, a Documentary Film Specialty at the CCC in Mexico and a Master's Degree in Visual Anthropology at the UB of Spain.
