Sinopsis / Synopsis:
Through the eyes of four inhabitants of the Mayan Jungle, the roots of a culture threatened with extermination are unearthed. The preservation of culture resembles the transplantation of a kapok tree.
Biografía / Biography:
Pablo Cruz Villalba (Mexico City, 1992) is a director and cinematographer. He has directed the feature documentary La zozobra (2020) and the short films Las mujeres invisibles (2018), Las frías sobras (2022) and Yaxche'oob (2023).
