Sinopsis / Synopsis:
Somewhere on the Internet there is a space of 250 square kilometers in which individuals meet in community to simulate a fiction of survival. Under the guise of avatars, a film crew enters this location and contacts the players. Who are these inhabitants? Are they really playing?
Biografía / Biography:
"Quentin L'helgoualc'h earned a Master's degree in Plastic Expression from the Montpellier School of Fine Arts in 2017, the same year in which he directed the documentary Marlowe Drive. In 2019, he directed Entre cosas vacías and Cristaux Liquides. In 2021, he joined Frenoy, where he shot his first fiction film: Les Neiges électriques.
Guilhem Causse obtained his DNSEP (Master's degree in Plastic Expression) in 2017 from the Montpellier School of Fine Arts, where he directed the documentary Marlowe Drive alongside the documentarian Ekiem Barbier (Toulouse, 1993). He developed his research around the film Solaris, which he translated into a series of video and sound works presented as hypnotic and immersive installations.
Ekiem Barbier is an author, filmmaker, and musician. He graduated from the Montpellier School of Fine Arts in 2017, where he directed the documentary films Anent, shot in the Ecuadorian Amazon, and Marlowe Drive, where he explores the world of video games. He is a creator who approaches anthropology through the prism of the digital realm."
