Sinopsis / Synopsis:

Luis Enrique “Kike” Hernández directs the civil association El Caracol,
an association with educational purposes that works with people in
street situation. During the pandemic, he and his work team
saw the need to take to the streets to try to safeguard
the rights to health and life of one of the most
discriminated against in the country. This documentary chronicles the struggle to achieve
people forgotten by the government and society have access to
vaccines, education and life itself.

Biografía / Biography:

Andrea Saavedra de la Teja is a film director born in Mexico City. Before studying Cinematography at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica, Andrea earned a bachelor's degree in Philosophy. He has written and directed a short film documentary (“Sisyphus's Labour”) and three short fiction films (“All your damages,” “Reunion”, “Castaway”). His latest work is a feature-length documentary titled “The Fires”, which is currently in post-production. Andrea has worked on several films as a script supervisor, assistant director and
editor.
