A semi-docu images of a hunting-trip in Africa. White hunters, naked natives, animals, pass by in a manner that preserves the individuality of each, but at the same time, the editing of sound and image brings these systems into comparison and collision, producing a complex of multiple meanings, statements, ironies…
Biografía / Biography:
Born in Vienna, Austria in 1934, Kubelka is a filmmaker, musician and architect. The rejection by the establishment of his early work drives him to explore the radical limits of cinematic language.
Founder of the Austrian Filmmuseum, of the historical Anthology Film Archives in New York and designer of the Invisible Cinema, a performative concept that had spectators such as John Lennon, Yoko Ono, Andy Warhol or his close friend, Jonas Mekas, who said that his cinema was "like a fragment of glass".
