Sinopsis / Synopsis:
Fabián, a fisherman from the northern beaches of Mexico, spends his quiet days working under the sun and on the sea, but his life takes a turn when tragic news arrives that prompts him to embark on a journey full of restlessness. The path will take him to the other side of the border state of Sonora, where he will discover a more complex reality than he imagined.
Biografía / Biography:
José Esteban Pavlovich was born in 1991 in Sonora. In 2010 he moved to Mexico City to work at the production company Fábrica de Cine, where he wrote feature films and television series. In 2018 his first short film "Bea" is presented at several international festivals, winning several national and international awards. In 2020 he left the production company to focus on more personal projects as a screenwriter and director. He is currently co-writing the screenplay for the first fiction film by José María Espinosa de los Monteros and the first film by Italian director Pietro Coppolecchia.
