Sinopsis / Synopsis:
Adriana remembers her past together with her mother and she confesses to him that she was raped in her adolescence. A event with which he has been burdened for years, and like living in Mexico, a country where it is a another story where gender violence is normalized and even justified has influenced in her.
Biografía / Biography:
Adriana López Garibay is an emerging Mexican audiovisual producer and photographer. Her work has been focused on women, experimentation and archival material. On the other hand, she has worked as a producer in the feature film “Niebla de Culpa” and in the segment “El sexto sol” of the feature film “Aztech”. She has also been a video editor and teacher at Arte 7. She has also been a finalist for the TAI Scholarship 2019, selected in residences and
laboratories such as the Error Process Lab, CAMPADOC, DocsMx, Casa Comal at the Ibero-American Meeting of Emerging Filmmakers and DocuLab13 at the Guadalajara International Film Festival.
