Sinopsis / Synopsis:
During the leadership of President Soeharto (1966-1998) under the New Order government, Indonesian Cinema brought forth important names that are still being discussed until now. It was a period in which censorship operated firmly to regulating and maintaining the narrative that may or may not appear on the screen. That was an era when the opposition could only be represented through the perspective of the New Order regime itself, to conserve a danger of latent–a spectral enemy. However, can cinema represent the faith of its own era?
Biografía / Biography:
I Gde Mika (Mataram, 6 de diciembre de 1999) es una trabajadora cultural que actualmente estudia en el Instituto de Artes de Yakarta (IKJ) con especialización en estudios de cine. Es miembro de Forum Lenteng y participante del Colectivo Milisifilem. Yuki Aditya se graduó de la Universidad de Indonesia con especialización en Administración Fiscal. Una vez trabajó como auditor fiscal en un contador público en Yakarta. Actualmente es el Director del Festival Internacional de Cine Experimental y Documental ARKIPEL desde 2013.
