Sinopsis / Synopsis:

In 1925, a polar expedition led by the explorer Roald Amundsen, managed to reach 88 North, the northernmost latitude ever reached by a man at that time. How to represent the conquest of a place that is an absolutely empty geographical abstraction?

Biografía / Biography:

Sergio H. Martn is a Spanish film director and editor based in Mexico City. He is the director of the documentary short film The Six Degrees of Freedom premiered at FICUNAM in 2019 where he obtained the special mention of the jury. Later he has toured competitions around the world such as Energa CAMERIMAGE Festival (Poland), Poitiers Film Festival (France), and Brussels Short Film Festival (Belgium). He is currently editing Rodrigo Alonso Kahlos debut feature Lo que dura la noche as well as the short film "Los Espejos" by Patricia Ordaz Cruz, for Brbaro Cine.
