Guillermo Lucena, a rock musician in a stalemate, travels from Argentina to Lima in search of a friend who disappeared long ago. After following the trail of some anonymous clues, he meets Sofia, a restless teenager with whom he forges a friendship. Both of them will find in that bond a way to make sense of the absences they have had to endure.
Ezequiel Acuña was born on September 9th, 1976. His first feature film, Nadar solo, was officially premiered at the BAFICI 2003 and screened in the Filmmakers of the Present section of the Locarno Film Festival. His second film Como un avión estrellado won the prize for Best Argentine Film at the 2005 BAFICI. Excursiones, his third feature, premieres in 2010 and is chosen by FIPRESCI as the best Argentine film of that year. La vida de alguien, his fourth feature film, has its world premiere at the Mar del Plata Film Festival 2014. He has been living in Lima for three years and The Migration is his first film outside of Argentina.
