Sinopsis / Synopsis:

The process of making a playground is the starting point for a reflection on the relationship between work and free-time, highlighting the hidden labour of the production of culture by following the construction of Condorellis commission in South London. Jay Bernard wrote and recites the soundtrack.

BiografĂ­a / Biography:

Ben Rivers studied Fine Art at Falmouth School of Art, photography and super8 film. After his degree he taught himself 16mm filmmaking and hand-processing. His practice as a filmmaker treads a line between documentary and fiction.
Cline Condorelli (IT, FR, UK) is a London and Lisbon-based artist, and was one of the founding directors of Eastside Projects, Birmingham, UK; she is the author and editor of Support Structures published by Sternberg Press (2009). Condorelli combines a number of approaches from developing structures for supporting the work of others to broader enquiries into forms of commonality and discursive sites.
